THE PROJECT

New IKEA store, the third for importnace in the hinterland of Milan.

THE INTERVENTION

Studio Introzzi oversaw the final design of steel facade structures, the construction design for manufacturing and the assembly of sandwich panels in wall systems.
The coatings of the long main body of the store facade are Isowand Vario sandwich panels, while for the entrance sandwich panels Hoesch Matrix have been used. The facade materials are produced by ThyssenKrupp .
The intervention total area amounts to 7,900 square meters, of which 6,800 square meters in Vario panels and 1,100 square meters in Matrix panels.
